THE GREEN INNOVATION CENTRE
In partnership with University of Embu and Kenya Climate Innovation Centre ( Funding Stage). A center for Green and Circular Innovation: A Zero Carbon Building.
SUSTAINABLE TINY HOUSE
In line with Climate Change and incremental weather this study looks at designing a sustainable tiny house that can thrive self sufficiently in the Kenyan tropical climate. Using a simple and easily replicable design, sustainable materials, stand alone water collection and bio gas cooking stations as well as rooftop solar panels for self sufficiency. This Project is at R and D stage, pending funding for building a trial model.

AGRITECTURE
In 2019, 27.51% of Kenya’s total population lived in urban areas and cities, up by more than double from 1970 when the rate was 10.3%. The cost of food exponentially increases based on the distance of farms to the city. With a large part of the urban population, more than 70%, earning less than Kshs 50,000 a month, it is time to look at promoting and implementing urban farming. Agritecture is the solution to this.
